    What happens now?

    in Daniel Butterfield Death

Good question...... the next few weeks and months will be interesting. SOMEONE will inherit all his LLCs and their problems.

Does anyone else feel cheated that we never got to see him face criminal charges? Pictures of him in handcuffs and leg chains? Oh, yes, they were coming, don't doubt me. I so wanted my "day in court" with him on the witness stand !

One member said he did this to avoid prosecution.... but not likely. Nico WAS in the vehicle with him. Glad to report he was wearing his seat belt (unlike his dead father who wasn't) and sustained only minor physical injuries. The psychological trauma will leave him with injuries, but those will also heal.

Is this really true? I'm not finding anything on the internet about this and when I click on "Continue Reading" it says the post cannot be found. I wouldn't put it past him to bribe officials and fake his own death.

There is only the one story out of Rocky Point as of now..... It will be awhile before it is picked up up here.

I’m heading down there this afternoon, coming back Sunday. I will try to see if I can find out anything more.

This outcome was inevitable. Jail or dead. No way was he going to get away with stealing that kind of money and remain free. Wish I could make it to Minnesota for the funeral so I could piss on his casket. He got off too easy. His death was appropriate for the crime committed. I’m sure he’s looking up from Hell wondering what went wrong.

May his soul never Rest In Peace.

Maybe I should put this on a card and send it with flowers to his funeral, ( if he has one).

I just had to let loose and speak my mind. I feel better now.

He is facing the ultimate judge now. The eternal one. Though most would‘ve like to have seen him bound and shackled here on Earth, he is now accounting for his sins in Eternity, which is far worse and longer than anything here on Earth.

We have to remember that DB at least appeared to be a good dad to his son, who no longer has him around! We all eventually reap all of the seeds we sow! It’s all on God’s time!

Rondel, you are so right.....it’s all on Gods time. And, definitely a second or third conformation is required. Wish I was in the area as I would have already made the trip. What about filing suit against his estate? His ex wife, son and anyone else shouldn’t get a time.

@TK No one will get anything until Probate of his estate is done. I bet he left his affairs relative to that in poor shape, and his entire estate could be tied up in probate for years (10 years is not unimaginable). Consider my next statement...

My guess is that since DB was a one man show and there appears to be no one who can step into his shoes and take control over his 48 or so LLCs and conduct business for them .... that the State will have to put everything into a receivership until his estate is settled. I am willing to bet that a thorough and complete forensic audit of everything in the estate will have to be done. There are a few pesky little laws about assets that were obtained illegally or fraudulently being transferred to beneficiaries through probate.

I will be seeking some "expert" opinions on this over the next week. Your contact at the AG's office is a good place to start seeking answers, so go for it.

My final thoughts are, a boy, who seemed to have a father that was good to him, is now without his father. That, to me, is the most tragic part of this. As bad as the things that DB has done to all of us, a young boy is now without a father. It seemed to me that DB really loved his son! I feel bad for his son! I am focusing on hating the sin, not the sinner! I am working towards forgiving the acts of DB. How are we expected to be forgiven for our sins, if we cannot/will not forgive others? I find that the moment I forgive someone, as well as ask for forgivenes, I am set free! That doesn’t mean I forget!

I know my wife and I haven’t lost as much as others, but we have accepted that our investment is gone! We have moved on. We have chosen not to dwell on the past anymorE. We cannot change it. Dwelling on it for us only rotted our souls. Not any more. We choose to use our time moving forward to focus on trying to do good to others. Fortunately, we are still. very blessed! Still have a roof over our heads, food on the table, and 5 wonderful kids! That is what we have chosen to focus on!

The good that is ahead of us, not the evil that has happened, that is behind us, that we cannot change. As I have mentioned in another post, DB is no way facing the Ultimate Judge, whom I believe is a just God! DB will have to account for everything he has done, as so will we one day!

I wish everyone the best of luck in the future! May God continue to Bless each and everyone of you!
