So, one woman who found me and the blog has a great story. After having had a bad experience owning an IPX investment property she was eager to buy a DOT to make some money.
Well, now she is just plain smart! She knew if anything went south, she could end up owning the property. So she ordered an inspection of the property before she committed to fund the deed. Does anyone want to guess how that went over at IPX?
Bottom line, "How can I do business with you if you don't trust me?"... inspection was not allowed, and she did not fund the deed.
So, for all of us who feel so stupid for not getting inspections on our properties, we most likely would not have been the proud new owners. And we would have been better off that way!
Thanks for the grins, SW!
